San Pedro Cactus 'Time Warp' x 'Rolleston 2' | Trichocereus Hybrid
Care and Growing
Like most San Pedro hybrids, the 'Time Warp' x 'Rolleston 2' is incredibly resilient and grows much faster than many other columnar cactus species when given the right conditions.
Light Needs: Thrives in Full Sun to Partial Shade. In extremely hot climates, some light afternoon shade can help maintain the deep blue-green color and prevent sunscorch.
Water Needs: Moderate (for a cactus). During the active growing season (spring and summer), water thoroughly when the soil is dry. They can handle more frequent watering than desert cacti if the drainage is excellent. Keep almost completely dry in winter.
Soil Needs: Requires a Rich, Well-Draining Soil. A mix of 50% organic potting soil and 50% inorganic grit (like pumice or perlite) is ideal to support its fast growth while preventing root rot.
Temperature & Hardiness: Hardy to approximately 25°F (-4°C) for short periods, but best kept frost-free. If you live in a cold climate, it performs excellently as a large container plant that can be moved indoors for winter.
Add this unique, fast-growing piece of cactus history to your collection and watch the 'Time Warp' x 'Rolleston 2' reach new heights!
